“BooBoo” LeCourt Baba Boo My Miracle Boy!
BooBoo was born on a quiet sunny, but chilly February afternoon, one of two boys born to Unity Dite Lily de La Fieffe Au Songeur at LeCourt and AKC CH Laughing Le Courtier at LeCourt.
At two weeks old BooBoo turned extremely ill with aspirating pneumonia which nearly took his life. He spent the next four weeks in and out of the critical care hospital and OSU veterinary school. Needless to say, I spent every evening at his side to comfort him and let him know that he was not alone. When the doctors said let go, I said no, not now. The next four months was stressful, as he slowly healed. When BooBoo finally came home he had to be separated from his brother. I soon discovered it was nothing to come home to find the boys together. Just as I guessed, I caught Beaudini climbing up and over the x-pen to be with his brother.
Finally the day came when BooBoo was allowed to be with his brother. It was joy to see the boys together after being separated for so long.
BooBoo still has some side effect from his pneumonia and yes, even now I watch him closely as each season passes. My BooBoo will forever be by my side and he is a beautiful, special boy in my life.
